Bear - Aussie/shepherd? mix, black and tan, male, 1-2y, 45lbs. NEUTERED! Bear is a friendly guy with a outgoing temperament. His cute little stub tail wiggles nonstop in happiness, even when meeting strangers. He's curious and playful, ready to make new buddies everywhere. Bear appears overall healthy and is reportedly UTD on vaccinations (no records provided.) He came to the shelter as an owner surrender.

Lucien - Shepherd mix, black and tan, male, 4-6y, 44lbs. Lucien is a gentle soul who's sadly very overwhelmed in the shelter right now.
Once he's away from the noise of the kennels, he's able to relax and show off his sweet temperament...and ask for his favorite thing in the world: BELLY RUBS! He's happy to flop over for anybody to request some well-placed scritches. Despite his anxiety at first, Lucien showed absolutely no aggression and let us check him over without any problem. Lucien appears overall healthy. He came to the shelter as a stray.

Casper - Whippet/lab? mix, blond and cream, male, ~1y, 40lbs. Casper is a curious, friendly guy with a tail that never stops wagging once it starts! He was a bit shy with us at first but relaxed quickly once we were away from the noise of the kennels. He enjoyed giving us and the room a thorough sniffing before making himself comfy to ask for scritches and a little playtime. Casper appears overall healthy and came with limited vet paperwork reflecting some vaccinations. He was originally adopted from the shelter in August 2025 and came back as an owner surrender.

Chip - pittie mix, red/white, male, ~1y, 35lbs. Lowrider alert! Chip is so scared in the noise of the shelter that he had to be carried out to meet us today.
Despite his fear, he showed absolutely zero aggressive tendencies and let us check him over without any problems. He's a submissive young dog, who quickly showed us his belly for rubs and shared gentle licks once he figured out that we're friends. Could use some help with leash training. Chip appears overall healthy. He came to the shelter as a stray with Nugget, Tater Tot, and Macca.

Yeti - Heeler mix, red/white, male, 1-2y, 29lbs. Yeti is a gentle soul who's absolutely terrified in the shelter. He wasn't aggressive in the least, just too scared to walk on the leash. Once we had him in the peace of the play yard, he started to relax and show us his true temperament - calm, waggy, and a total lapdog in training. He LOVED being close to us! Yeti appears overall healthy. He came to the shelter as an owner surrender with fellow heeler mix Izzy.

Pekoe - Pyrenees mix, white, male, 2-4y, 58lbs. Pekoe might be the winner for the softest ears of the day! So velvety and cozy. On top of his most excellent ears, Pekoe has a very gentle, slightly shy temperament with us. He's a little freaked out in the noise and bustle of the shelter but let us check him over without any guff. He comes across as a sensitive, perceptive dog. Pekoe appears overall healthy. He came to the shelter as a stray.

Allister - pittie mix, gray/white, male, 2-4y, 63lbs. Allister is a goofy meatball of a dog with an outgoing, goofy temperament. He was pleased as can be to make our acquaintance today, showing off full-body wags and charming play bows. Allister appears to be overall healthy (he's a strong, curious boy!) but he does have some hair loss at the base of his tail that's consistent with flea dermatitis. Allister came to the shelter as an owner surrender due to an eviction. SUSPECTED HOUSEBROKEN!

Roxie - lab mix, gray/white, female, ~1y, 45lbs. Roxie is an energetic, playful dog with a very extroverted temperament. She was thrilled to meet us today and immediately tried to talk us into a rousing game of fetch! Bouncy and totally charming - could use a little help learning her manners. Roxie appears overall healthy. She came to the shelter as a stray.

Tater Tot - Shepherd? mix, black and tan, female, ~1y, 30lbs. Lowrider alert! Tater Tot is 100lbs of fun packed into a small body - she's playful, very outgoing, and full of an exuberance that's hard to match. Has never met a stranger! But she could use a little help learning manners. Tater Tot appears overall healthy. She came to the shelter as a stray along with Chip, Nugget, and Macca.

Macca - Shepherd? mix, black/tan/white, female, ~1y, 34lbs. Macca is pretty overwhelmed in the shelter and had to be carried out to meet us today. Despite her fear, she showed us a gentle, sweet temperament and no aggression. She may come off as shy at first but a few kind words earned us some gentle wags and a lick before she went back to her kennel. Macca appears overall healthy. She came to the shelter as a stray with Chip, Nugget, and Tater Tot.

Izzy - Heeler mix, black/white/red, female, 2-4y, 45lbs. REPORTEDLY SPAYED! Izzy was an easygoing girl with us today, relaxed and wonderful on the leash. She enjoyed lazily sniffing over the yard and showed off how cute her little stumpy tail looks when it wags. A very go-with-the-flow gal! Izzy appears overall healthy, though she is a little overweight and, as a result, has a bit of trouble keeping her tail area groomed. Izzy came to the shelter as an owner surrender with Yeti.

Jack - Beagle mix, black/white, male, ~1y, 16lbs. Jack is totally terrified in the hustle and bustle of the shelter so he had to be carried out to meet us today.
Even though he was practically frozen in fear at first, he had no problems with being handled or checked over and quickly began to relax while he checked out the play yard. We think Jack will be able to mellow out into a sweet pup in a calmer environment.
Jack appears overall healthy. He came to the shelter as an owner surrender with Daisy Mae.

Daisy Mae - beagle mix, tricolor, female, 8-10y+, 14lbs. SENIOR ALERT! We won't sugarcoat it - Daisy Mae has had it rough lately.
On top of her very obvious eyes (suspected cherry eye), Daisy could use a full dental, has an uneven gait in her hind legs (video available on request), and has some hair loss on her rear feet. Despite all of that, she was an absolute peach with us - very sweet and friendly, always ready to share wags at a soft word, and easy to handle. She enjoyed sniffing the yard over thoroughly and saying "hello" to each of us in turn. Daisy Mae came to the shelter as an owner surrender with Jack.

Kiwi - Shepherd/pyr? mix, black, male, 3-4 months, 15-20lbs. Kiwi is the last pup remaining after his littermates were all adopted and he's feeling unsure by himself in the shelter.
To be frank, he's VERY skittish right now. Shelter staff is able to handle him and he allowed us to check him over today, but he was obviously very scared of us, flinching and trying to scoot away (but NO growling, snapping, etc.) Kiwi appears overall healthy. DHPP 11/14. He came to the shelter as a stray.
