Subject: Urgent: Speak Up for Local Animal Shelters!
T,
Animal shelters across the country are full and rely on financial support from local governments and members of their community. Your nearby animal shelter needs state funding to continue providing veterinary care, enrichment and shelter to pets in need. You can help them get it: Urge your governor to invest in your state’s animal shelters.
Animal shelters play an important role in our communities. Their programs provide access to affordable veterinary care, reunite families with lost pets, facilitate adoptions and much more, yet funding has not kept up with the demands shelters face today.
Ask your state government to invest in shelters now — to meet the rising demand for services and to modernize facilities so pets can continue receiving the care they deserve as they begin a new chapter.
Thank you, T!
