Elbert 121514 - male, 3Y/54.5lbs, HW negative

Medical:
Information for adopters: Elbert presented to the shelter with significant swelling of the front right limb. An abscess in the region was found and medical management was started. The swelling has improved, but is not fully resolved. We recommend several more weeks of rest to allow the limb to fully heal and have started Elbert on medications to keep him calm during this time. We anticipate this resolving with time, but if it does not, follow-up checks with adopters private veterinarian may be warranted.

Intake date: 6/23, stray
