Sophia and her four puppies have watched other moms and litters leave for safety while they remain behind, waiting and hoping. She greets every passerby with a wagging tail, desperate for attention — so eager that her little ones sometimes get trampled in her excitement.

Sophia is only about a year old, 35 lbs, heartworm negative, and very dog and people friendly. Her puppies are five weeks old and thriving.

They would love to find a place before this weekend. Please, help us get this sweet family out of the shelter and into safety. 💔
