Roxaboxen Needs Rescue

Meet Roxaboxen, a 3-year-old Mastiff mix in need of rescue. Originally surrendered to a partner shelter, Roxaboxen was later transferred into our care. He has a positive history with children of all ages and other dogs, and has shown himself to be a friendly, social dog.
Roxaboxen was adopted, but unfortunately returned shortly afterward due to some behaviors that his adopters found challenging, including jumping and inappropriately mouthing people, including once incident that unfortunately broke skin. During his time in our care, he has continued to demonstrate his friendly nature and has done well participating in shelter playgroup with other dogs.
Roxaboxen is a young, energetic dog who is still learning to be mindful of his size. When excited or seeking attention, he may occasionally use his mouth to grab at people. We believe that with structure, consistency, and continued training, this sweet boy has the potential to thrive.
