Bio: Meet Duke. This sweet little guy came to us alongside April, and while the grey on their muzzles hint at their age, their hearts are still full of love to give. Duke is a gentle soul who’s simply looking for a soft place to land and someone to love him through his golden years. He and April were cherished by their previous owner, a senior who sadly can no longer care for them. Now, Duke is hoping for a second chance at comfort, companionship, and a cozy home to call his own. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, Duke might just be your perfect match.
Other Dogs: He was stoic and non-reactive with our tester. He previously lived with other dogs including a Great Dane, so he is used to other dogs. Video available to our rescue partners by request.
Cats: Non-reactive. We recommend using caution until everyone shows they can be trusted.
Children: We do not have kids to test with. We always recommend supervising children around dogs/puppies. Sometimes our dogs/puppies are active and might be too big for small children, and sometimes the children can be too rough around dogs.
