Subject: Still in Urgent Need of Rescue! Kitty w/ Severe Skin Condition! (Baldwin, MD)
Meet Bella Loo! Bella Loo came to Baltimore County Animal Services as an owner surrender due to an eviction. She previously lived with 5 other cats and did well! Here at the shelter Bella Loo is a bit shy but warms up quick! She enjoys head and cheek scratches and will reward you with gentle purrs.
Unfortunately, this 8 year old girl has some medical concerns that will need further work up. She presented to our veterinarian team with suspected eosinophilic plaques on her abdomen and right medial hock. The lesions may be consistent with an allergic reaction but may need further diagnostics. She also has muscle wasting of her hind and is arthritic. We have started her on a treatment plan but due to her extensive medical needs and age we are looking to place her with a rescue immediately.
