Hello Russel,
Any chance you can circulate Finn & Freya who were living in a car with a young lady who has recently experienced homelessness and is now in a temporary foster situation, which is not a long-term solution as she has 5 dogs of her own. I have Cc Meredith Krissoff as she would be able to provide any additional information needed.

Thank you as always for all you do!

Subject: Finn & Freya

Good morning!

I am sharing the story of Finn and Freya, hoping that you can help in some way.

On April 14, someone reached out wanting my rescue to help with two small pit puppies living in a car with a girl that recently became homeless.  Intake for us was closed at the time, but I did get one of my fosters (who had five other dogs) to agree to keep them temporarily until a rescue in PA could take them.  The puppies were emaciated and frightened.  We kept reaching out to the rescue who committed to them, but they had no foster homes available.  Come to find out its a two woman show and they specialize in kittens, not dogs!

Fast forward to now ~ I have been unsuccessful in finding another rescue to take the pups, or someone to adopt them.  All my foster homes are still full and Jesse (current foster) can no longer keep them now that they are happy, energetic, healthy puppies!  She has five of her own dogs, cats, kids and is a surgical vet tech.  She simply does not have the time or resources anymore to provide for Finn and Freya.

They are up to date on vaccines and boosters are due soon.  Neither is altered, as we were waiting for them to reach a healthy weight.  They are sweet dogs.  Finn is more outgoing than Freya, but both are super sweet.  Please let me know if there is any more info I can provide ~ and if there is anything you can do to assist us.  My only option now is boarding, and that would be a huge setback.

And a side note, they are not bonded. We did separate them for a couple weeks while Jesse went on vacation. They did a lot better apart.

Thank you for your time!
