Ā
Logan(AID#115377)

Logan is a 3-year-old, 55.6 lb male Pit Bull mix found at Tribble Mill Park in Lawrenceville on February 17th. He was not microchipped, and no owner has come forward to reclaim him.

Since arriving at the shelter, Logan has blossomed into a friendly, affectionate, and well-mannered companion. Although he was initially nervous, he has gained confidence and now thrives on human interaction. He enjoys spending time with staff and volunteers, seeks out attention, and has developed strong bonds with the people who care for him.

Ā Logan is incredibly trainable and already knows several commands, including sit, stay, shake, lay down, and roll over. He loves toys, especially balls, enjoys belly rubs, and shines during enrichment activities. His playful personality and obedience skills have earned him positive attention from volunteers and potential adopters alike.

Ā He has participated in successful meet-and-greets and generated adoption interest throughout his stay. While Logan is very people-oriented, introductions to other dogs should be done thoughtfully, as he has shown some discomfort with barrier greetings.

Overall, Logan is a loving, engaging dog with so much to offer a family. He is ready to leave shelter life behind and become someone’s loyal best friend.

Bravo (AID#115470)Ā Ā

Ā Ā

Bravo is a 1-year-old, 44.8 lb male Pit Bull mix found running loose near Braselton Highway and Gravel Springs Road in Dacula on February 21st. He was not microchipped, and no owner has reclaimed him.Ā Ā

Bravo is a gentle, sensitive soul who has steadily gained confidence during his shelter stay. Initially shy and skittish, he has shown that with patience and kindness, he becomes a sweet, affectionate companion who enjoys spending time with people.Ā Ā

Volunteers describe Bravo as easygoing, friendly, and eager to explore. He walks nicely on leash, knows basic commands, and has enjoyed outings to parks and hiking trails. During these adventures, he remained calm around children, adults, dogs, and other everyday distractions.

Ā While Bravo is socially appropriate with other dogs, he can become overwhelmed by high-energy canine companions. He would likely do best with a calm dog friend or in a quieter home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace.

Bravo is the kind of dog who simply needs someone willing to see past his initial shyness and give him the opportunity to flourish.

Rover (AID#115714)Ā Ā

Rover is a 2-year-old, 55 lb male Shepherd mix found running loose on New Hope Road in Dacula on March 8th. He was not microchipped, and no owner has come forward for him.Ā

Rover is a sweet, gentle dog who can be a little shy when meeting new people, but quickly reveals his kind and easygoing personality once he feels comfortable. He knows basic commands and walks beautifully on leash, making him an enjoyable companion for outings and daily exercise.Ā Ā

Rover would thrive in a patient home willing to help him continue building confidence while enjoying the stability and security of family life.

Ā Rover did test positive for heartworms; however, our shelter is committed to supporting his treatment. We will provide heartworm treatment after completion of a 30-day doxycycline course and required rest period, making it possible for a rescue, foster, or adopter to focus on helping him settle into a home environment.
