Seeking rescue for a 9-year-old intact male Shepherd (60 lbs) removed from a home after his owner was found deceased. He’s a very calm, gentle boy but has several medical concerns and does not tolerate restraint. Lovingly names, "=" ❤️

 

Key Notes

• Limited vision
• Severe arthritis; drags rear right foot
• Cannot HW test – becomes stressed with handling and has given warning bites
• Dog neutral
• Quiet, low-key temperament

Why He Needs Rescue

His medical needs and handling tolerance make the shelter environment unsuitable. He needs a low-stress, experienced rescue to address mobility issues and safely complete vetting.
