Charlie is a super lovable 71/2 year-old Cavapoo. He has been a companion for an 81 year-old woman who can no longer take care of him because she has moved to assisted living. Charlie was professionally trained when he was younger,  but the owner didn’t keep up with it. We are currently working with him to reestablish his training. He is crate trained and goes easily to the crate. He loves to destroy soft toys, but loves chewing on his hard toys. He loves to play fetch and tug. Charlie also loves to snuggle and be petted. He walks well on a leash and gets very excited to go on a walk especially if he can chase leaves. He is timid at first, but quickly warms up. He gets along with other dogs, but gets very excited around cats. He scares the cats, but with a slow introduction he would adjust to them. He is neutered and micro chipped as well as up-to-date on all shots. We are able to foster him until a home is found or make a donation to offset his cost of care. Charlie has been an excellent companion for my mom and got her through Covid. He would be an excellent companion for someone.
