Layla is an 11-year-old Great Dane mix who came to us in rough shape. She’s intact, weighs just 58 pounds, her nails are overgrown and she is extremely underweight. 

She has two significant masses:
• A large mammary mass on the right side (inguinal area), about the size of a grapefruit
• A mass on the dorsal surface of her anus that appears debulkable

She’s a senior with stiffness in her hips and rear end. The good news — she is heartworm negative.

But despite everything… Layla is incredibly sweet.
She’s calm, gentle, and dog-friendly. The kind of dog that just quietly wants to be near you.
