Our road enforcement division recently worked a cruelty case which resulted in the removal of three dogs from a property. They have now entered our shelter population which at the time was already overcapacity
These dogs do NOT need to be pulled by the same rescue organization, we are simply sharing them together as they share the same beginning of their stories.
These dogs were left without appropriate shelter or water. With the high temperatures we've been experiencing, they are lucky to be unharmed. Heat stroke can quickly set in and cause organ failure and even death without immediate medical intervention.
Despite their hardships, they have been very well behaved and tolerant for handling both with the responding officers and with our veterinary team. They have been assessed with other dogs and have been appropriate and social. They have every reason to resistant or hesitant, but they have shown us just how resilient they are
