Against all odds, Snyder works her way back to walking, and eventually riding again. The most amazing part? She did it in just 18 months, after doctors predicted she would never walk again. They say when you fall, you've got to get right back on the horse again. Snyder is a living, breathing example of that.
This German drama is not for the faint of heart, so to speak. It follows the journey of a 17 year-old girl named Jana (Lena Klenke) who suffers from a congenital heart condition. Even though her health problems cause obstacles, Jana is recruited by race horse trainer Paul Brenner (Dieter Hallervorden) to be his apprentice. Jana learns not to live by the confines of her illness, using horse-back riding as an outlet. As she trains for a life-threatening race, her courage is put to the ultimate test.
