Req 1 : RTL Design

Experience : 06-10 Yrs

 

·         BSEE, MSEE or PhD with 6-10 years of digital design experience

·         Expert in digital design flows and tools.  Fluent in VHDL/Verilog RTL level coding, test bench development/simulation, and FPGA development

·         Design experience in CMOS imaging sensor and/or System Verilog/UVM experience is a plus

·         Strong leadership skills with past experience in team management.

·         Capability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with proficient written and oral communication skills

·         Fluent in English is a must

·         Synopsys or similar logic synthesis tool experience

 

 

Req 2 : Hardware Engineer

Experience : 05-08 Yrs

 

Responsibilities:

·        Responsible for Design of evaluation, reference and interface boards and should support the hardware needs of the internal software and Frontend team

·        Responsible for all technical issues during Design, Bring-up and follow on support

·        Work closely with ON’s internal Design team; Troubleshooting reference and evaluation systems, documenting problems, and suggesting solutions.

·        Technical support during chip bring-up and validation.

·        Validation of hardware designs using Signal integrity tools like Hyperlynx / Sigrity.

·        Validation of IP developed by Digital Design team is an optional expectation.

 

Requirements:

·        Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering

·        Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience in Hardware system design or mobile device system applications or cameras.

·        Experience with Multimedia Processors and Image Signal Processors

·        Should have worked on mixed signal integrated circuits/devices, high speed digital designs and high speed serial interfaces.

·        Desirable to have understanding of Image and video fundamentals.

·        Desirable to have digital camera design knowledge and understanding of solid stage sensors.

·        Should be capable of handling issues with little assistance and should be an expert in handling test equipments.

·        Expertise in Schematic capture (OrCAD) and basic knowledge of Allegro layout.

·        Familiarity with software development tools, environment and debuggers.

·        Should have excellent organizational skills, should be a self starter.

 

 

Req 3 : Analog Design

Experience : 05-10 Yrs

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 5 – 10+ years’ experience Analog Design
  • Develop and release-to-market industry-leading analog protection products
  • Take direction from lead design engineer. If needed, collaborate with marketing/applications and package specialists to define parameters of a new product
  • Experience in design of one or more of the following: PLLs, SerDes modules such as driver, duty cycle corrector, receiver, equalizer, sampler etc. Experience with voltage references, LDOs and DC-DC converters
  • Execute hands-on design work for sub-blocks, under the direction of a lead designer
  • Estimate yields in advance of tapeouts through statistical simulations
  • Contribute to high quality and thorough design reviews including a playback to marketing specs
  • Work with CAD-support teams to continuously improve and optimize design flows.

Must have worked

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering
  • Experience with modern analog design flows.
  • Should have work experience in technologies – 22nm, 28nm, 45nm, 65nm etc
  • Must have good communication skills and work ethic

 

Req 4 : Software Development – Application

Experience : 08-12 Yrs

 

Objectives

-        Minimum of 8 – 12+ years’ experience Analog Design

-        Work with various teams in geographical location on creating a software platform to test and demonstrate ON Semiconductor products

-        Provide both SW development and technical leadership in the design and implementation

-        Contribute to creation and continuous improvements of software development process

-        Develop documentation enabling effective knowledge sharing with various groups and stake holders

 

Basic qualifications

-        Extensive experience in C++

-        Relevant hands on experience in software development and providing technical leadership

-        Experience is scripting language like Python

-        Experience in modern agile software development methodologies and practices

-        Experience in cross-platform GUI application framework like Qt.

 

Desired qualifications

-        Experience in C++ 11

-        Development of Software tools with cross-platform application framework

-        Familiarity with image sensors will be an added advantage

 

Skills

-        Technical leadership and self-motivated

-        Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with audience at different levels of technical expertise

-        Good oral and written skills for communication and documentation of technical information

 

Req 5 : ASIC Verification

Experience : 03-06 Yrs

 

Responsibilities :

·        Testbench development using System Verilog and UVM

·        Create Verification plans required for the project.

·        Knowledge of C/C++ is advantage

·        Leveraging existing test benches, methodologies and industry best known practices

·        Handle block/Module/IP level verification independently.

·        Create various verification components in SystemVerilog and using related methodology guidelines

·        Debug issues and present / discuss problems with designers independently

·        Run regression, analysis reports, achieve code coverage and functional coverage goals

·        Run netlist verification without and with SDF

 

Qualification :

·       Possess BE/BTech/MS/MTech in Electronics/VLSI Engineering with Minimum 03 – 06 years’ experience in ASIC Design Verification

·       Ability to understand complex micro-architectures and come up with test plan.

·       Experience in IP, Chip and/or SoC level verification

·       Strong Verilog, System  Verilog, PLI/DPI interface, C/C++ hands on experience

·       Experience with verification reuse methodologies such as UVM/OVM,VMM

·       Experience in developing complex test bench in System Verilog

·       Experience in writing test plans and test cases

·       Excellent hands-on debug skills

·       Experience in advanced verification methodologies such as coverage driven, assertion

·       Must have good communication & interpersonal skills.

·       Independent, self-motivated, professional attitude and strong desire to succeed

 

Req 6 : Automotive Imaging Applications Engineer

Experience : 04-12 Yrs

 

Position Requirements:

·       The ideal candidate will have 4-12 years of experience in applications engineering for camera systems, image signal processing, or image sensor design as follows:

·       Knowledge of image processing algorithms and their application to automotive imaging

·       Understanding of HDR technology and how pixel parameters affect image quality

·       Comfortable with imaging concepts such as color temperature, dark current, fixed pattern and temporal noise and how they impact image quality and/or tuning

·       Direct experience supporting customer hardware is required.

·       Candidate must have excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills.

·       A self-starter and team player with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and to work independently with minimal supervision.

·       Commitment to timely support of internal and external customers, and to follow up on assigned action items.

 

Preferred Skills/Experience:

·       Familiarity with functional safety mechanisms for automotive imaging applications

·       Experience with Ethernet protocols for automotive applications

·       ISP color pipe tuning

·       Experience of imaging analysis tools and scripting languages – e.g. Matlab, Python

 

Education:

·       Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Physics or equivalent is required.

·       Graduate Degree in related area is a plus.
