Dear All,
 

We are looking for a Project Scientist and Project Associate posts for a National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) project at Supercomputer Education and Research Centre (SERC)

 

Posts:

1. Project Scientist – 1 No,

2. Project Associate – 2 No. 

 

 



Qualification: 

 

Project Scientist (Post Doc): Ph. D. in the areas of Modelling and simulation, High-Performance Computing with Electromagnetics, Microwave or Antenna background.  Candidates with master's degree with 2-3 years of research experience in High-Performance Computing may also apply. 

 

Project Associate: B. Tech/M. Tech. in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Electronics and Communication with Electromagnetics, Microwave or Antenna background or master's in mathematics and Computing or equivalent with a strong interest in High-Performance Computing.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

Familiar with Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) tools like FEKO, HFSS etc. or meshing tools like Gmsh, Hyper-mesh etc.
Expertise in C/C++, Fortran and Matlab programming
Knowledge in OpenMP/MPI/GPU-based parallel programming.
Knowledge of numerical methods and algebraic solvers.
 

   

Salary: 

The salary will be commensurate with the qualification and experience, if the candidate is found to have the qualification we are looking for.

Selection process: 

Candidates meeting the essential qualification and background will be required to appear for an interview through electronic or other audio-visual means.  Candidates should also indicate if they have good Internet connectivity at their place of work to undertake the interview.  

 

Note: Interview will be online. Candidates should ensure good internet connectivity during interview.   

 

Selected candidates will be intimated by email. 

 

These are purely temporary positions initially for a period of one year but are likely to continue based on performance.
