Hope this email finds you in good health. I am Sreenidhi, alumni of PES University (2015-2019) ECE batch currently working at Cisco Systems as a software engineer. I am writing to you to let you know about job openings for the position of software development engineer (SDE 1&2) and test engineers that are open under my department of Enterprise Networking - Switching. Development:

G4:

Experience: 1 to 2 years. • Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/EC or technical equivalent. • Prior experience working with various embedded devices , Device drivers is a must with a strong command on C/C++ programming languages and OS infrastructure.

Main focus is on programming and networking concepts

G6:

Experience: 1 to 5 years. • Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/EC or technical equivalent. • Prior experience working with various embedded devices , Device drivers is a must with a strong command on C/C++ programming languages and OS infrastructure.

Testing:

Bachelor/Masters with 3-4 years of related experience in network testing , Ethernet Switching technology
Experience in ANY of the following areas:
• Platform knowledge - PHY, DRAM , I2C Bus, Memory , RFC-2544 Performance
• Server/Host Virtualization -VmWare, LXC, Docker
• Netflow / Telemetry / Analytics
• L2 and Routing Protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP, RIP, ISIS, etc)
• Multicast protocols (e.g. IGMP, MLD, PIM SM/DM/SSM, etc)
• Network Virtualisation
• MACsec, CTS, SGACL, IPSEC, First Hop security, ACL Policies, Network Data Analytics, Dot1X.

• Automation : Python/TCL scripting.
