[IRF] A Message of Condolence & Solidarity with the people of Iran on the Martyrdom of their Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَمْوَٰتًۢا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَآءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ
“But do not think of those that have been slain in God’s cause as dead. Nay, they are alive! With their Sustainer have they their sustenance”
[Surah Āl-I-‘Imran; 3: 169]
We, from the Islamic Renaissance Front, would like to express our deepest condolences to the family of His Eminence Ayatollah al-Uzma Sayyid Ali Hoseini Khameinei on his martyrdom earlier today. We shared the sadness, pain, and anguish of the people of Iran during this challenging time.
Throughout his life he has shown the world the meaning of the word resistance. The persistent fight of the mustad’afin – the oppressed – against mustakbirin – the oppressors. The Islamic Republic of Iran has survived all these years since the revolution in 1979 despite the harsh economic sanction, and will continue to survive, and will show to the world what resilience is.
The cowards that killed him did not realise that he loves martyrdom, and were awaiting martyrdom. We are an ummah, a nation, that loves death to life. And we as believers – are hoping that martyrdom will visit us one day. InsyaALlah!
مِّنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا۟ مَا عَـٰهَدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُۥ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ ۖ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا۟ تَبْدِيلًا
Among the believers are men who have [always] been true to what they have vowed before God; and among them are such as have [already] redeemed their pledge by death, and such as yet await [its fulfilment] without having changed [their resolve] in the least.
[Surah Al Ahzab; 33:23]
