SpecificallyI want to skip the flight school missions. I did the first 2 easily enough but turning the plane is just an exercise in idiocy. I love the game and would like to finish it, but I have absolutely zero interest in learning to fly using their flight control system or flight model.

But the flight school missions straight-up sucked, at least in the PS2 version. First-person view or not. It fucking sucked. Good thing the rest of the game is so great, or I would have quit at the flight lesson where you have to fly through the circle of rings and then land.

Someone said there is one more flying mission right after the flight school so a save game after that is good. Then apparently theres a really tough flight mission later. Not sure how to handle that. Maybe I just need a save game after that point? Are there many missions in between that would get skipped?

According to the Gamefaqs walk through I want a save right after the N.O.E. mission and also after the Freefall mission. Those are the only mandatory flight missions after flight school from what I can tell: the other flight missions IIRC are optional.

And it is fun, if you keep at it. It opens up some neat transportation options later in the game. I also wish Rockstar had implemented it better, but I still think the game is better with flying that it would have been without it.

Please do not use this box to ask a question, it will be rejected - this box is for answers ONLY. If you want to ask a question for this game, please use the ask a question box which is above on the right.

Ah, that's one of the harder missions in the game. Unfortunately, there is no way to skip that mission through cheat or other means. You'll have to learn how to fly to do later missions, and if you can't pass this one, you can't pass the ones that come after it. Sorry. :S

I have heard that you can break into the airports and steal a plane, fly it for like 20 game hours (20 minutes) and you get a pilots lisence, and that helps you complete Learning To Fly missions, I think. Thats what I am doing now. Try it, you got nothing to loose. To break into the airport use the Jetpack cheat: left right L1 L2 R1 R2 up down left right

To spawn your own stunt plane without going through the airport, use the cheat: circle up L1 L2 down R1 L1 L1 Left Left X Triangle. These are ps2 cheats.

Go onto a cheat website and find the speed up time and then find the stunt plane cheat or go into airport and steal a jet. After doing this fly around for bout 10 minutes then after that you will be able to skip mission, P.S This is for all gaming systems but on PC you can download a mod then it allows you to skip any mission you want if you choose this search it on utube

There are no cheats. The only easy way to learn it is by driving a car on air.For that first you have to type RIPAZHA .Then take any car and in speed. Now try to drive it in air using the same controls; also use up and down keys.I am sure this will help you to learn flying as because this worked for me.

I was stuck in this mission for many weeks . But at last I completed the mission . I am going to tell you how I completed it. There is an easy way you can download the crazy trainer + 151 from GTA inside or any other website and then activate the option complete the flight school . But you have to complete the last task . You can freeze the timer using the trainer.

To clear the take off mission you just need to speed up by w then down arrow then press + so that your wheel get inside which helps you to speed more quickly .... (Specially button + is helpful when you can't see radar in the take off mission )

If you want to succesfully do it, use cheat SLOWITDOWN so that you can maneuver the plane easier. But I wouldn't say you will finish it faster, you will also have to try it many times until you succeed. Got a Gold finish at circle airstrip with that

I had the same problem couldn't complete the flight mission....but my friend told me that you need to download the save file of the flight school from internet and then Copy the file to data -> com.rockstargames.gtasa -> files -> here

Can't complete a mission in GTA San Andreas? Is the mission in the game too boring? You can skip it!

This small patch activates the hidden developers ability to skip any mission in the game.

Move all files to the folder data/com.rockstargames.gtasa. To skip a mission, open the CLEO menu and select Skip mission.

The mod requires an APK with the DATA takes cut out to work. You can do it yourself or download a ready-made one. If the game crashes when you enter the main menu, install the patch from the folder "Patch if the game crashes".

Some missions may skip incorrectly. This is not a problem of the mod, but of the game, as the functionality was not intended for the players.

Save before the mission you want to skip, and be careful to save after skipping the mission.

The arrows slowly creep to the center (the circle) from the right, but instead of going all the way smoothly, the game seems to skip ahead at least once per second, bringing up several "missed" messages on screen. Since the arrows do not pass by the circle smoothly, the two plot-critical dance missions are not complete-able.

I have tried many different varitions on display settings, trying pretty much all available resolutuibs, with 'widescreen' on and off, 'frame limiter' on and off, and all the other settings on and off.

This is not at all what the arrows do in my case, where the whole set of arrows on screen gets replaces by a set of new arrows, and I get several "missed" messages at once on the screen (sometimes filling the whole screen with "missed" messages).

A partial improvement can be obtained by forcing the game to be started in Windowed mode. To do this, one needs to get hold of a file called d3d9.dll, I got mine from a rather dubious source (some mediafire link I've found in the description of a Youtube video). That file has something to do with older versions of DirectX, but I'm no expert on that. The file needs to be placed next to the gta_sa.exe in the directory where GTA:SA is installed.

The game's timing for the rhythm sections, (especially the Lowrider challenge but also when Dancing), is off by a fair amount. Even on the old PS2 version running on a CRT (with little to no image preprocessing), the off-beat display of the buttons in the sweet spot is noticeable.

From my years of playing, the beat seems to be about 0.4 of a second off from the music in the Lowrider challenge, and closer to 0.2 off in the Dancing sections. You need to almost ignore the beat of the music, follow the incoming buttons, and press slightly after when you should.

Normally you would push to the beat of the music, which (ideally) would be represented by the middle of the blue circle. However, you need to hold off just slightly enough to press the button as it leaves the circle.

As always, practice makes perfect, so save beforehand and just repeat the challenge over and over. Pattern memorisation also comes into play, as the buttons are in the same order every time. So keep at it and you'll get it eventually!

If you're running the game on a 64-bit system but playing the 32-bit version that could be to blame. If that is the case look for a patch - if you look in the disk itself sometimes they come with a 64bit patch.

Also check your monitor setup. If your using a setup with progressive scan the game is likely loading certain frames ahead of time causing this glitch. Disabling progressive scan (ie setting graphics card settings to 1080i instead of 1080p may solve the issue.

A lot of people having the same issue as me, although I'm sure I've done everything in my checklist and I also repeated a lot of activities over and over again just to make sure .. but unfortunately nothing changed.

But finally a found a solution to give your save file an extra percentage, which is the casino heist mission .. simply kill Millie Perkins to get a keycard, and you will receive a phone call then the mission will appear in your minimap and you're ready to go.

The casino heist is a requirement for 100%. You can date her enough to get the key card, but killing her is just quicker. Just make sure to go on a date with her before killing her or you will miss out on the Not A Player trophy

It's actually pretty easy to figure out what you're missing if you know how the mechanics of the completion percentage work. There are 187 things (chosen because of the California penal code for murder/death/kill) you must do witch each objective counting 0.534759358% with the total getting rounded to 2 digits.

Likely candidates

Gym Moves easy to forget, don't show up in stats. Short of revisiting each gym and seeing if they will challenge you to a fight or offer to teach you moves is the only way I know to tell

Breaking the Bank at Caligula's is a likely candidate due to the key-card mechanics mentioned and that it isn't necessary for the story to progress.

Bike school or Boat school are possible because you don't need either to progress the story and you can't see the completion in the stats page
