Thegold course has received various awards including one of the top 100 golf courses to play in America by Golf Digest. Known for its unique design and spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains the Gold Course offers a rewarding experience for golfers of all skill levels.

Soldier Hollow Golf Course offers a championship, 36-hole complex built on the mountainside above Midway. A part of gorgeous Wasatch Mountain State Park, Soldier Hollow was a major venue during the 2002 Winter Olympics. Two 18-hole courses named the Gold and Silver courses offer challenging play and amazing views of the Heber Valley.

The Gold Course layout sits at some of the highest elevations of the complex offering stunning views of the Heber Valley below. The Gold Course is a mountain or foothills course with significant elevation change throughout the course and dramatic elevation changes within each hole. The vegetation on the course mirrors the surrounding native area vegetation, scrub oaks and native mountain valley grasses.

TWILIGHT PLAY - $15: Currently beginning at 5:30PM, players may enjoy the course at a discounted rate on a first come, first serve basis. Twilight play is walking only and is good for as many holes as can be played on that day only. Rain Checks are not available during Twilight Play.

Over 6,300 yards in length, the picturesque, tree-lined, PGA sanctioned course is a par 71 and offers a challenging layout with four teeing areas per hole. Highlights include narrow fairways, fast greens, and water hazards on seven holes. The 18-hole Rutgers University Golf Course is open to the general public and tee times start at 7 am weekdays and 6 am on weekends in the height of the season. Our targeted opening and closing dates, weather permitting, are March 1 and December 15.

Developed from a 9 hole facility, Rutgers University Golf Course was reopened on May 29, 1963 as an 18 hole facility. The course is located on Rutgers University's Busch Campus in Piscataway, and nearby points of interest are The Waksman Institute, Rutgers Medical School and multiple athletic facilities, including SHI Stadium. The mission of the course is to ensure that every player enjoys a timely round of golf played on superior fairways and true greens with uncompromising service and instruction.

Reopened in 2022, The Glen Golf Park is a unique mixed-use outdoor recreation golf park. Through the ongoing partnership with the Madison Parks Foundation, along with the shared vision and generous financial and in-kind contributions of many community members, the golf park offers a dynamic blend of programmed activities and as well as a redesigned 9-hole golf course, suitable for first-timers and long-time golfers alike.

Monday Mornings at The Glen: through Monday, August 26 enjoy The Glen for a stroll, nature, workout or leashed dog walk from sunrise to 8:00am. Tee times resume at hole #1 at 8:00am. Visitors should be alert for golf balls and golfers while exiting the course.

Originally designed by Robert Wood Johnstone, the golf course was expanded in 1910 by Johnstone in collaboration with Wiliam McEwan, and redesigned and lengthened in 1921 by the British firm of Fowler & Simpson.

Sometimes the course was called into service for non-recreational purposes. President Theodore Roosevelt reviewed the troops on the links in May 1903. Three years later, the course was used as a refugee camp for survivors of the 1906 earthquake.

In 1913, the PGC took responsibility for course maintenance and management. Dues collected from both the PGC and the United Service Golf Club, whose members consisted of commissioned officers of various branches of the Armed Forces, helped to fund the total cost of operation. The club continued to grow, and so did the course. In 1920, the London golf architectural firm of Fowler & Simpson enlarged the course and installed a watering system. Thousands more trees were planted along the course in the 1930s when the Works Progress Administration built a tree nursery in the Presidio.

In 1956, the need arose for an automatic sprinkler system that would cost $100,000. The Army funded the repairs, but required that the PCG transfer operational responsibility for the course to the Army. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, attempts were made to reduce or eliminate civilian membership. However, the spirit of unity and commitment to an agreement made decades before between the two organizations always prevailed.

When the Presidio became a national park site, the course was opened to the community, and a new public clubhouse was built in 1999. However, the private Presidio Golf Club still exists and operates its own clubhouse just outside the park. The building is so close that the awning over the front walkway hangs over the boundary, and a final step out places one on Presidio grounds.

The restaurant and snack shop are closed until further notice.

Golfers are encouraged to bring their own food/snacks and non-alcoholic beverage(s).

Limited selections may be available at the Pro Shop.
