Notice from the Nursery... Does this look squiffy? Hi a Hello everyone, A lot's been happening... Due to unforeseen circumstances, there's somewhere I need to be on 3rd July, when we had planned our 15th ANNIVERSARY GARDEN PARTY..... but DON'T PANIC! It has been rescheduled for the following Sunday, July 10th - and here is a flavour of what's probably going to be happening, barring seismic occurrences.... TIMES: Come any time between 11am and 6pm to help us celebrate - happy for folk to drop in even briefly! FOOD & DRINK: We'll have cakes, herbal teas and caffeine-rich ones, nibbles, and unspecified varieties of shop and home-made alcohol - aiming for elderflower champagne to be ready but no promises! Any visitor wanting to make extra contributions of food or drink - thanks in advance! QUIZZES: Ongoing quizzes for adults and children will be available throughout the day - format to be devised by the devious horticulturist! SITTING AROUND AND CHATTING: We have garden seats, gazebos for the inevitable downpour, so plenty of opportunity to relax and talk plants, gardens, even politics if you can bear it....or maybe we'll be a politics-free zone for the day and just dish out garden advice! NURSERY OPEN: And plenty of 15th birthday bargains to be had! We'll be showcasing some of the new plants and ideas we have this year, and other things of interest to our customers. If you're part of an organisation and would like to bring some leaflets or pictures etc. to promote your activities, please get in touch! AND MORE, NO DOUBT... Just to advise, we have a sloping garden, with uneven areas, and bees up one end of it. There isn't room for everyone to park at the house but happy for people to get dropped off, then park in Main Street. Hope to see you on 10th July! Margaret & Andrew PS.
