How is everyone going?

I am still offering call out computer help and other computer and
internet related services.

I also just put up a want on the system that I am looking for a car. I
know it is a big ask but someone might have an old car they want gone.

I would like to encourage all the users to update their offerings and wants.

I got back last week from my job of mining in the Outback where he
Emergency Response teams often set fire to what look like pretty good
but abandoned cars out there as part of their training.

If you can wangle a free ride to remote WA, and can do some minor
"McGyver" repairs, you could get a free car that way, AND help clean
up the environment! :)

On a more serious note, we're looking for someone or suggestions on
how to care for our aging cat for 2 brief periods in early January. We
think that he's too old to stay in a cat motel (he frets badly when we
tried that years ago) and probably needs to stay in his own place (our
house) and be fed morning and evening, let out morning and brought in
at night.

An example of where both he and we will need to be able to put
significant trust in the person.

Does that sound like we need regular get-togethers so we know and
trust each other enough to turn away from big business chain stores,
at least a little bit?

How about a meeting somewhere in late January when most of us will be
back into our routines after the holiday season?
