LOC Kargil is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language historical war film based on the Kargil War fought between India and Pakistan, produced and directed by J. P. Dutta under his banner "J. P. Films". The film features an ensemble cast of Bollywood stars and music composed by Aadesh Shrivastava and Anu Malik, with the former composing the score and the latter composing the songs.
I totally agree with Sinhaji here. Anu Malik has given some of the wonderful, melodious songs over the past decades but as Sinhaji said, people forget about these because of his some copied compositions. Here are some songs by Anu Malik which I really like (randomly listed). I know a couple of these are partially inspired by other songs:
SOMEWHERE IN KARGIL SECTOR, July 6 (PTI) The booms from a battery of 130 mm guns placed strategically in the lee-way side of a hill in the dead of the night adds to the beat of drum to a melodious Hindi song from a "Jawan radio" inside a bunker at a height of 13,000 feet.
Stop Press... the killing and mutilation of the body of another Indian soldier at the LoC is General Sharif's swan song and way of admission that the surgical strikes did take place. It's his way of leaving with honour but the Indian Army should give him a signature salute with a deniable strike across the LoC and let him live to regret his last days in uniform.
