Would anyone object if I deleted the "Perspectives Beta" mailing list?
It looks like this was used a long time ago when Perspectives was
published on the CMU website, before Perspectives moved to
addons.mozilla.org.

I don't believe addons.mozilla.org has a way to use any kind of beta
channel for updates - I only know how to publish regular releases.

At any rate, I don't have the time to publish and coordinate extra
beta releases in addition to the regular releases. My goal is to
create a robust, behaviour-based suite of tests for Perspectives that
can be run quickly and reliably. We can then be confident in any
changes and simply publish frequent updates. Everyone can use the same
version, which means if there is a problem we should all find it
quickly and it can be identified and fixed.

Along similar lines - does anyone have a preference about deleting or
using the 'announce' mailing list? The original intent was to only
send emails there for Perspectives releases. Does anyone hate being on
the regular mailing list and would prefer an option to only receive
release emails?

Hopefully it would be less confusing if Perspectives had fewer mailing
lists. But let me know what you think.
