Chrome and other browsers use Safe Browsing to show users a warning message before they visit a dangerous site or download a harmful app. Our scanning infrastructure also protects the Chrome Web Store from potentially harmful extensions. Learn more

Live Reload is useful for debugging native functionality (such as plugins) on device hardware. Rather than deploy a new native binary each time you make a code change, it reloads the browser (or WebView) when changes in the app are detected. Learn more here.
In the debug target dropdown menu, select Launch against Chrome, then click run. This will open a new instance of the Chrome browser and VS code will attach to it. You can set breakpoints and use the other debugging tools within VS Code while your app is running in Chrome.
The last thing we need to do to set up the computer is to enable remote debugging in the Chrome developer tools. To do this, open up Chrome on your computer and go to the DevTools settings at chrome://inspect/#devices

Recent versions of Chrome shipping with Android now include a feature called asynchronous DNS. This is a DNS client included by default within the Chrome browser that was previously inactive. This feature bypasses the system level DNS resolution and stops some of the malware blocking included in BlackFog. This feature uses SSL based DNS resolution to bypass on-device filtering. We are working on an update that works around this issue for newer devices, but in the mean time you can simply disable it.
