If Michael was attracted to boys and used those few books to get off, what was he using in all the years between 1994-2003? That's almost almost 10 years. Wouldn't he have replaced the books if he used them for nefarious purposes?
In 1993 they found pictures of naked women and Playboy magazines and Hustler magazines with his finger prints all over them. The dates on the magazines show he consistently brought hustler, playboys and other heterosexual materials on a regular basis for at least 10 years straight.
Whilst excited about the holiday, my kids are slightly nervous, especially my son. If he decides some days not to go completely naked on the beach, would that be OK? Are most the other boys his age normally naked? I think if all the other young teens are naked, he will be fine to be nude as well, but less so if most other kids cover up.
DizzyMum, glad to hear your son is fine about being naked now and no longer worried about getting erections. As a Mum with 3 boys, I know It's something that many parents of young teens worry about. There used to be a great website with really good advice for 1st time young nudists, I can't find it now but if I do I'll send you the link.
A few tips I do remember, If you don't already do so, it's a good idea for your whole family to practice nudism at home before the holiday. That way you are all much more comfortable being naked when you turn up at crowded nudist beach for the first time. The other person who mentioned putting sun cream on before leaving for the beach is another good tip. I don't know how comfortable you or your partner would be discussing the delicate subject of masturbation with your son? As I'm sure you are aware most teenage boys normally masturbate daily. On holiday however they often share a room with a sibling or a parent and don't have the required privacy to masturbate. In a young teen who is used to regular self relief, after several days of abstinence he will basically become a walking erection! We learnt the hard way with out eldest son (no pun intended!). If you can give you son some privacy each morning to relieve his sexual frustration before you leave for the beach, I think you will find any erection he does get on the beach will be rare and short lived.
Hedayatsa, thanks for your reply, but no, that is not what I was thinking. But I'm sure you can understand why I was concerned. I have a 14 year year old son going through a particular difficult stage of puberty where he seems to be highly sexed, gets frequent erections and will be sleeping in the same room as his 12 year old sister where they are both likely to be masturbating at the same time. I'd rather they had separate rooms but that's not possible for this holiday. We had a good chat and they have both assured me, they have complete respect for each other's sexual needs and that I have nothing to worry about. They are good kids and know the difference between right and wrong. I do sometimes over worry things and hit the panic button occasionally. My partner has been a nudist for years, but it is still relatively new for me and my kids. This will be our first proper naturist holiday as a family and we are all learning all the time.
DizzyMum, STOP WORRYING! From reading your posts, you are clearly a great Mum and raising 2 well adjusted children. It's great that you can be so open with your kids and discuss subjects other families might just brush under the carpet. You and your children have a very healthy attitude towards the challenges of puberty and being a naturist family. You should be proud of that. You have had a good chat with your kids, that's great, they are not fazed by sharing a room and have agreed to respect each others privacy. So stop worrying, be grateful you have such a great family, relax and have a great holiday!
Thanks Fearless for your reply. We have been practicing the naturist lifestyle at home all summer and last year visited a quite nudist beach in Spain a couple of times so it won't be a massive shock to any of us when we all strip off on Cap d'Agde for the first time.
We've just got back from a wonderful week in Cap d'Agde. My boys, 12 and 13 had the same fear regarding getting hard whilst naked on the beach as your son. Yes, it did happen a few times to both of them, as it did to the numerous friends they made, but was never seen as a problem by anyone on the beach. Some boys if sitting or lying on their backs would turn to lie on their fronts to hide a hard on. Others, if at the water's edge would run into the sea. Also, one good tip I learnt from the mother of one of my son's friends was to apply suntan lotion before leaving for the beach. If you do it at the beach, once you start rubbing it in to your private parts, well you can guess what is likely to happen! Finally, as you are probably aware, whilst the main family part of the beach is great for kids, there is adult sexual activity that occurs on the other part. It's hard to stop kids wondering over there from time to time, but it's best for families to keep to the main part of the beach.
Thanks everyone for your replies. My boyfriend and I have had a good chat with my son and he is much happier now. It turns out his main concern was that he feels he is likely to get frequent erections and would be embarrassed to be seen like that on a busy beach. We've explained to him that it's the same for all teenage boys going through puberty and most people won't care or barley notice. My partner says after a day or so, he will be so used to being naked, he will find the erections become less and less frequent. I told him I will pack a pair of speedos just in case, but he confidently said, "nah, won't be needing them." Counting the days now till we arrive and all 4 of us can't wait.
I am the mom of 3 boys 9, 13, and 17. We've visited Cap d'agde a few times now. We also encouraged our 2 eldest to find some relief before going to the beach. That worked pretty good for the most part. This past year our oldest wanted to do things differently. Instead of finding some relief before going to the beach, he preferred to go to the more non family friendly section and relieve himself there. Not what I'd prefer but it's his body and I respect that.
Some years ago since I went naked on a beach. but I remember how quickly my erections went down. True attractive people stimulated me, but a smile if our eyes met, and we looked away. Some people are happy to be appreciated whatever their age. Young boys are lucky to have such understanding parents. Young teenage girls are grateful for sympathetic adults around them. Avoiding areas where overt sexual activity happens seems sensible, unless youngsters see their parents lovingly having intimate acts.
Isnt erections natural? Our son gets it around female friends of us. Both we and the women we know are open with him and the other boys that its ok, and that they also look at the boys erection. And that both his mom and the other women feel natural urges seeing the boys getting erections around them. Our son is 16 and we encourage him to explore what he urges to do in private, even if it is with one of our mature friends. And we always acted natural seeing friends giving him erections. Its all natural.

A 1940 article in LIFE magazine describes the pool in the Olneyville Boy's Club as providing an alternative to juvenile delinquency in a declining mill neighborhood. Photos show the naked boys crowded into the "dingy little 60 ft. swimming pool" as they had for fifteen years.[26] In 1941 the Olneyville Club won two of the five final events at a national Boys Club of America swimming championship.[27]

In 1935 the school superintendent in Pontiac, Michigan approved nude swim classes for boys in high school, saying it recalled "the days of the old swimming hole".[29] In 1940 a New York City school official continued to favor boys wearing bathing suits only in pools visible to both sexes. Girls were issued cotton suits that could be boiled to disinfect them between uses; the wool suits used by boys could not because they would shrink and lose their shape.[17] In addition, fibers from wool swimsuits could clog pool filters.[28] Swim classes were advocated not only for exercise, but as a recreational activity that, once learned, could become a lifelong pursuit. The swim classes were also looked upon as an opportunity to teach children proper hygiene.[17]
One book on public health did agree that nudity would be the most sanitary option for girls as well as boys, and that this was practiced at some schools, but never universally as with boys.[36] In 1947 the 150 girls age 9 to 13 at the Liberty School in Highland Park, Michigan were directed to wear swimsuits by the Superintendent of Schools in response to a group of mothers protesting to the board of education. Nude swimming for girls had been optional for six weeks prior to the order. Nude swim classes continued for the 200 elementary school girls from two other schools. Boys in the schools had not worn suits in their separate classes for years, and girls requested to do the same in order to give them more time in the pool rather than changing. While following the wishes of parents who believed girls should behave modestly, all the board members disagreed, stating that there was "no moral issue involved".[37]
