Spurious Moore OK tornado event notification?

Last night your disaster notification feed announced you were setting up an instance for the Moore, OK tornado.
But strangely, it appears to be titled "Earthquake" and gives no indication of being for the Moore, OK tornado.
Can you explain what this is about? Thanks. -Leif Neve

The Google Crisis Response page for Moore Oklahoma has a link to the Red Cross Safe and Well site:  http://google.org/crisismap/2013-oklahoma-tornado

I see no other announcement or links from Google's pages that Google Person Finder has been activated.

It is good to not have clashing messages go out to public as to where to report missing persons.  I've always supported the use of Safe and Well domestically.  I assume Google decided to redirect people to Safe and Well from their Crisis Map - that's great.. but I guess the Person Finder instance should be taken down and redirected as well.

Hello Leif,

The appearance of the 2013-oklahoma-tornado repository in the outgoing /repo notification feed was a mistake, and I apologize.  We were preparing one to have it ready in case we needed to launch, but we did not launch it because we felt it was best to direct people to Safe and Well.  However, we need to fix Person Finder so that pre-launch repositories do not appear in the outgoing feed until they are really launched.
