Does anyone have any experience of using the two together?

It's an excellent question!
I was used to use trello and I recently discover the full power of trello.

So I'm very curious if someone have an experience using the two together.

The answer is yes.  There are several articles and videos out there.

Just google Evernote and Personal Kanban.

There's a lot up there.

I will take this as a sign, though, that I should do a summary article. :-)

FWIW,I use Evernote every day and use the widget on my phone as a visual control. When I go on to a client site or a conference, I'll take notes in evernote. They stay up on my phone (because they're most recent) and I know that I need to make that information into products ... so those prompts become cards in our board.

Leankit (there's an article on the PK site) can make cards directly from Evernote.
