hope. You don't need to spend a great deal of money on a set of
knives, but they will last, won't need sharpening as often and prove
to be good value. As long as you look after your knives, they'll
provide you with years of service.  
Crockery - Your crockery can be as plain or as exciting as you like.
Maybe in your stylish bachelor pad you'll be looking for something
designer-y to go with your minimalist d'cor. A family kitchen might
want a large set of plates, bowls and cups so that there's always a
plate and cup no matter who comes to tea, or stays over. A student
might be looking something plain and simple that represents great
value for money.
