new paper on the conceptualization and assessment of narcissism

Hi all,
attached is a paper co-authored by six PERSOC members recently accepted by JPSP. In this paper we propose a new process model of narcissism thereby distinguishing between two positively correlated narcissistic dimensions: Admiration and Rivalry. Moreover, we developed a new questionnaire for assessing these two dimensions (the NARQ). In a series of studies we collected multimethodological evidence for our two-dimensional reconceptualization of grandiose narcissism. Additionally, we show that the NARQ has not only better psychometric properties but also outperformes the NPI when it comes to prediciting relevant outcomes.
