I'm using persistenceJs for a cross-platform app built with
jQueryMobile and Phonegap. I've included persistenceJs to make
handling the local database a lot easier.

The app works fine in the Android version, which I developed first.
However, now that I am testing the iPhone/iPad version in iOS
simulator on a Mac, the app stalls right at the point where the first
call to the local db is made.

Could it be that Phonegap and persistenceJS get along nicely in an
Android environment but not in an iOS environment? What would be the
easiest solution here?

Kind regards,
Wytze

Wytze,

I'm not sure what your problem is, but I just wanted to say that I have an app in the App Store that uses jQuery Mobile, PhoneGap, and persistence.js. I have not run into any issues with it working any differently in iOS versus Chrome and Safari on the desktop or Android webkit browsers. Have you been looking at the device console in XCode to see that the persistence setup queries are being run?

Thanks Jake. I'm just getting started with Xcode, and so far the
device console is not giving me a whole lot of information. Nothing
like the console I use for the Android version when testing in Chrome.
I should emphasize I don't have an actual iPhone or iPad right now, so
the iOS simulator is my "device".

The console did tell me that the Google Analytics got a "whitelist
rejection" so I took out Analytics for the moment, but that was not
the cause of the problems.

The iMac is currently on the road with its actual owner, but when I
get it back I'll post the contents of the console.

Curious: did you find any solution to your problem?
Thanks.
