Hello,

I use phonegap and persistence.js in my applications.

I need
to share data between my applications
in same device.
the data may be stored in localstorage or database.

One of my applications need to retrieve data stored in another application
if they do not exist in order to request a new data recording

Is
that possible? is databases are restricted to the application that created it?

thank you for your help.

This is really a phonegap question, not a persistence.js one. I'm not sure, but my guess is that PhoneGap doesn't let you share databases between applications. For sure not on iOS (because no applications can share anything, basically) and I doubt it would be supported on Android. But to be sure you should probably ask on a phonegap mailing list.

HTH,

Zef
