Good morning everyone,

When I was at University of Reading this Summer, I scanned the original
drawings of Nazanin Light and Bold. With permission from the Department of
Typography & Graphic Communication, University of Reading, I'm happy to share
those with you and the general public, for non-commercial and research use, as
long as correct attribution is made. See:

There's a document called README and LICENSE in the folder that explains how
to attribute correctly.

My original aim for scanning these, was to do a revival digitization from
scratch, in an interpolation-compatible way, extend it to all of Unicode
Arabic range, and release it under OFL. That said, it makes more sense to
work on this as an open source collaborative project than solo. Let me know,
off-list, if you are interested in helping out, and we go from there.

In the mean time, I hope you enjoy these fine drawings!

I love the curves and proportions of glyphs in Nazanin font.
