It's a sad news to hear that Prof. Ehsan Yarshater, the founder and director of The Center for Iranian Studies, and Hagop Kevorkian Professor Emeritus of Iranian Studies at Columbia University, passed away yesterday, Sept 1, in California, at the age of 98.
