I cannot get download to work anymore with pandora plus. The advice I was given was to switch to Apple Music. I had it working and suddenly it failed and there is no way to control it. Apple Music only 5 dollars more and working. Sorry pandora plus . Frustrating me too much and I was a subscriber for many years.
I have two Nest Outdoor cams and a Google Aware plus subscription. The cameras were installed as per Google's instructions using the Google Home app. So far all has worked just fine until I have a clip that shows a burglar around our house which I would for obvious reasons like to download. The problem is that the clip is too short and does not show everything needed. I can however watch it manually but I cannot download the clip with add lead / lag time.
After reading some comments it appears that this is indeed not possible - hard to believe that such a critical functionality is not available and the product quality review teams have not identified it nor has there been a fix released or at least communicated.
Additionally there is the Nest app which seems to have that functionality but I dont know how I can move my clip history which I have already on the google aware cloud to the Nest app. And what that means for the already linked cameras to Google Home. Very confusing and slightly annoying.
Unfortunately, the Google Home app simply lacks the ability in the Google Nest app to create and download clips. Some customers in this forum have reported using their phone's screen capture capability to capture and save video from the video history of their Google Nest cameras.
Thanks for your response. But I will most likely move away from using NEST because I am sure that there must be similar requests already out there and requesting it once more if google does not want to implement it is just a waste of time. Bottom line. A security camera system which does not allow do download custom length clips is simple not fit for purpose.
I can only report my own experience. The app did install without a hitch, QR bearing handbills are handed out in all stores. I did not select the most likely interface language during the set up and promptly got forwarded to offers from another country. One can reset that within the app (one can also do it the hard way and reinstall everything with a more appropriate language setting).
There are two different Lidl apps out there, Lidl (offering access to its online shop for durable goods and its travel and leisure division) and Lidl plus. The latter one is the one which will give access the special discounts in Lidl food stores. I do not see why the discounter in question should geofence it. He wants as many customers as possible to use it. The app will make no sense in China or sub-Saharan Africa. Not yet penetrated by of Lidl stores. If someone should oppose it it would be Winn-Dixie rather than Apple.
Most Lidl shops have free customer WIFI so one can activate coupons while on the premises. No data option will be required. Log in can however take some time if there are other WIFI points. Round robin check. Some nudging may be required. I see no reason why the app cannot be downloaded in or at the vicinity of a Lidl store. Without SIM card if need be. A valid Email address will be required during the set up. That is all.
The discount is good even if several units of a checked item are purchased. The promised one time voucher can only be redeemed in conjuncture with a larger purchase. Some details are still unclear. I only used it once so far. Does one have to activate specific offers in order to qualify for a discount or will the scan at the checkout counter be sufficient (QR not NFC as with contactless credit cards). An electronic sales slip will be send to the app. The customary print out on paper will still be handed out.
