Playing Zynga poker on my phopne. One thing that gives me grief is that I make it all the way to the River, win the hand, but without getting to see the hole cards from other players who went the distance with me. This happens about half the time when I win. I want to know what the other player had when he raised, as that would tell me something about his betting behavior.
You're not supposed to see losing hands after they fold. It's a good feature so players WON'T reveal their strategies. That's the way you play poker; by not revealing strategies. So good for Zynga if they aren't showing hole cards in such cases. And I'm glad they don't cause I don't wish for you to know my strategies. The same applies when you win, and choose not to reveal your winning hand or strategy. It's called a "muck" feature. And in most sites you can turn it ON or OFF (if you turn it ON or leave it ON (usually ON by default), you're smart, if OFF or choose to boast and show your cards like some dumb and cocky monkeys I sometimes see who reveal their hands to sometimes "show-off" or just for "show", then the muckers will get the last laugh baby. Some kids are so cocky and dumb, and I love taking their chips, which is likely their Daddy's money, anyway. Glad that Zynga has "auto-muck" (I hope they do at least), cause I don't see a check box for mucking. Mucking means you never show your cards whether you win or lose PROVIDED you folded if you lost or everyone else has folded if you win (especially when you win, not just lose like your case above). And by the way, if you play poker for real money, you're a fool baby.
i play daily on zynga poker using my ipad and today i was short in chips i usually play 200/400k tables i went to buy some chips but no chips appeared in the list else than 350k and 90k and i was looking to buy 10.000.000 chips why this problem happening thx
I switched over to Linux from Windows, but now when I try to play Zynga poker it doesn't work right. I can only play there if I run Windows in a Virtual Machine and play from there, but it's kind of slow. I read somewhere that people were able to solve this problem by installing the SeaMonkey browser in their system. I tried that but it doesn't work either. Flash is already installed.
I was also having the same problem. When I run the command the following command in terminal then it says "flashplugin-installer is already the newest version". But in Firefox I was unable to play poker.
Smoking based on your posts your seem to have a fundamental grasp on poker strategies and odds. So use Zynga to improve your skills against the loose passive player. There is no point raging against the machine.
You win this game on your monsters. Slow play the heck of out them when you have the nuts and the calls will come in. You can usually double up on your monsters. Yes, you will get drawn out on or will lose to a bigger monster, but that is just poker. You take the good with the bad.
I like your way of explaining this.I am a good real life player,and also play Zynga free poker,I absolutely dont play the same in the two!But-I do realize that I can trick ppl often enough.Also,I started with 20k bought abt.600k for fun,and now have over 50million chips based upon my own strategy,thats a bit similar to your own.I do not even deal with all in every hand moron players,they take half the table out messing each other up,usually within five hands,lol.afterward,get down to a few decent players,and maybe one overly lucky donky,I can usually place. My big difference is,I choose to see many cheap flops during low low blinds,then fool the idiots and by the time blinds get higher I have more chips to work with from a ton of little hands played. When blinds are at 40or 60 I find it takes a raise of 350 or more just to get folds of at least 2thirds table.
Winning in any poker game is easy if you understand the most important parts about poker. Most people have never played a real cash game so they have no idea about these very simple yet very important details.
some good advice, I was just wondering how to collect from zynga win you do win real cash because it said that I won $1080 for where I ranked on the leaderboard and I clicked claim prize but then how do I get my money? the contact customer service phone number and online support led nowhere! any help would be appreciated. thanks, LC
Anyone who has played poker for more than 5 minutes has suffered bad beats. It happens at the casinos, it happens at home games, it happens at online money sites and yes, it happens at Zynga. You make yourself look very bad by complaining about them and you make yourself look even worse by saying the game is rigged. Nobody cares that you lost a hand except you!
Great article and great advice, opinions and debates in the comments. I would love to read an article about sites like PokerStars Or FullTilt as I have recently become interested in playing poker other than the Zynga.
i am also not so bad at all. i would never invest real money into zynga and i play for some years now (some weeks and then i come back some months later and so on). i have always 1-2mil in my wallet and thats good enough for me to have fun, though i could have more if i wouldnt be so afraid to sit at tables with higher amounts.
i think, you have missed one argument. yes, zynga poker is for sure not like real poker, but what you have missed to understand, is, that the goal is also not the same. it is not to make more and more money. it is to have fun. my goal is reached when i never have tp pay real money and have a security money of 1mil+. i dont need 10mils or 20mils of not-existing money

Personally disagree with you on fold fold fold. I think the two most important aspects of Zynga poker are bankroll management and playing position as you state. Zynga tables you can literally win 10buy ins in a matter of minutes with a run of hands. Same token you can easily lose buy in after buy in to bad luck. I have had spells of AA KK busted by utter garbage with people calling an all in on the flop with anything from bottom pair to a gut shot. Its therefore important to realise you will lose several buy ins to utterly awful play, but over time these same people make your money, so you cant let it affect you, good bankroll management covers this.

This game is full of shit and scammers all around. I am talking about those people who are running this game on our back.
I earned around 75 trillion chips in 4 months. Specially in lockdown. I played days and nights to earn these chips. I put all my efforts to earn these chips. I saved 7000 coins and 6500 rewards tickets as well.
What they did. Suddenly they stole all my 75 trillion chips by saying that you got the chips by unfair means and you have been reported by other players. What the fuck? You guys be honest and tell me if i am a pro player and earn chips in this way obviously people whom chips i snetched by playinhg well they will report me. Because they are loosing their chips.
Now why the fuck these zynga poker team stole all my chips at once? They are are not even real it seems. They dont reply when we try to contact them.
You can see even they didnt put their contact details any where so that no one can contact them easily.
Its my request guys they are a big big scammers. When we play poker, in actual what happens, they make bots sit with us and steal our chips. We dont even know that. They are keeping an eye on all yur facebook axtivities and apps you are using in your cell phone. I came to know this recently and i got shocked. Be aware guys.
I am not the only one whos chip had been stolen by these fucking bastards. There are some other people too who may reply here in comment of they had been conned once by zynga poker team.

This is in response to myk 's post about zynga's ensuring there isn't a way for players to sell their chips on the open market. That is inaccurate. There are countless websites that sell zynga Poler virtual chips and at lower prices than that offered by zynga. Not only that but they also buy chips so a player who wins big can sell his winnings on the open market and collect real money in exchange for the chips. There people in Indonesia, singapore, Israel, Mexico, and yes the US who make a living by selling zynga virtual poker chips on the black market and some on the open market . But zynga still claims they are not a gambling site. Well I beg to differ. Zynga is well aware of this frenzy surrounding its chips abs knows that they are brig sold outside of the game on websites such as mom'schips.com; chipmunks poker.com, chipspal, pokerchipswinner.com, just to name a few. And yes, this is gambling and because it goes on unregulated, unsupervised and uncontrollred unlike all other gaming activities in the US, zynga's crimes are more serious than not having a gambling operations license. They are guilty of embezzlement, fraud, conversion, etc . They operate according to their own internal desires without being checked out or even questioned abjure how they have ruined so many lives of all those people addicted to their poker game.
At least in the US, recently there has been some major crackdowns on online poker. So you have to be very careful about what kind of business you are trying to start. But, there are legal subscription based websites. I have never actually used them, but I think they offer a bunch of free tournaments with some kind of cash prize for the people who win. This I believe is legal (I'm not a lawyer) because people are essentially paying a fixed price per month to use your service rather than being able to use the exact amount they added on the site to gamble with.
