Reg - Persevere installation

Hi all,
Am srividhya working in national Informatics centre , as
research scientiost and am new to the Persevere and i have tried to
install the persever on my ubuntu 10.04 64-bit machine and the node
installed is v-0.7.04-pre version...(it is installed by apt-get). am
not able to start my persevere...
Pls do the needs for me ......

I believe the we had an issue with the package repository server going

    I have successfully installed the Persevere on my ubuntu 10.04 machine ...and its started fine also ...
Can you tell me how to see the examples or how can i start

When i give http://localhost:8080/ it wil ask the username and password i gave and i registered also ....
then after that what i have to do to see the examples
