Aclassic mod in many FPS games, Jailbreak is a team-based game where dead players go to a jail in the enemy base, while waiting to be freed by team players. The combination of defending the base from enemy whilst attempting to kill (that is, capture) enemies, plus trying to freed team players gives jailbreak its feature strategic component.
Each base has an "armory", a special room that can be accessed only by the base team, and which has some powerful weapons and armor (although to be honest most of items are outside anyway). This is good because it means enemy cannot ransack your base, which gives balance to the game (that is, bases matter). Still, some features subtract rather than add. Worst of all is that every jail has an escape path, which is in the end self-defeating since it means there is no true jail. This can be frustrating. Credit must be given to some of the animations for killing a jailed team (when all members are in jail), some which are pretty gruesome.
Although the concept of Jailbreak is great, execution is poor, particularly because maps are notoriously awful. Tight, not strafe-friendly, visually not appealing, bad connectivity, poor item location choice, are characteristics of most of the maps. This ruins the long-term chances of fun. In a sense, this mod is the antithesis of RA3. The maps are what made the latter outstanding (IMO). Jailbreak maps makes it irrelevant.
They could also have allowed for visual improvements in terms of HUD, enemy colours and all the usual OSP/CPMA stuff. The game is otherwise plain VQ3, which is OK for early 2000. I'm surprised the team didn't add those extra settings.
"It's certainly one of the largest prison escapes of recent history," said Paul Biddle, a former UK prison officer now advising the British government's Department for International Development on how to help rebuild Haiti's jails.
"We also want to give the people the reassurance that the system of justice is being re-built, because as soon as the jailbreak occurred there was an upsurge in criminality and fear. We want to tell the people we are rebuilding justice."
Jailbreak City is a city in Eastern Robloxia. It is the 5th largest city in Robloxia with a population of 4.7 million people in the city and 3.6 billion people in the Stormtopian Capital Metro Area.Jailbreak City is one of the largest cities in Robloxia.Jailbreak City has the highest crime rate of any city in Roblox, as criminals make up 50% of the city's population.
The city sits on the southeastern point of Robloxia with very mild summers and cool winters. The highest summer temperature was 106 F in 2017 and the lowest winter temperature was -16 F, recorded in 2018. It sits on the Cassel-Baszucki Fault line, but it is not as prone to quakes as The Capital, MeepCity. The largest quake recorded there was the Great Stormtopia Quake of 2018, which would have a magnitude of 9.9. The Great Stormtopia Quake had an epicenter in the Bloxian Sea, just southeast of Stormburg and triggered a tsunami which washed away half of the city. The quake was even felt near Roblox City which lies around 582 miles (936 km) (3.34 megastuds )northwest of the city. 56,000 died but no major quake has affected the city ever since.
The suburban area of Jailbreak City is well known for its numerous weapon shops, glider stores, donut shops, and vehicle dealerships ( most famous is the 1M brand ). There are wind farms and water turbines in the rural areas. A river passes by the area and has an indestructible cage designed to arrest criminals and police who have been accused of cheating.
In 2018's 80th Bloxy Awards, the city was nominated for categories that it would not normally fit in. The city also won over 10 Bloxy Awards, causing many petitions calling for the judges to be replaced and the Bloxy Awards to be host again.
The city has 1 bypass (Interblox 27), which is usually not jammed. The city has also 1 highway and 3 freeways, connecting it to cities and towns like Roblox City, TheAmazeman City, Caldera Peak, Boxer457 City and more.
Stormburg International Airport is the only airport in the city. It is also one of the busiest in Robloxia, with more than 3,000,000 passengers using it yearly. It is situated 24 miles (36 km) ( 129 kilostuds ) away from the city.
This page contains a backup Q3 coding tutorials. I backed up the source code releases, because I noticed the sites were going down, since most were hosted on Gamespy. You can learn quite a few things by looking at the source code, so feel free to download them, the mirrors won't make you wait in line.

This is a total conversion for QuakeIII Arena. You can use various different weapons to frag your enemies. For example shotguns, assaultguns, flamethrowers, prototype plasma weapons and many more. Like in real life, you have to reloadyour weapons from time to time and they are much more accurate if you stand still and do not run around like a fool. In "tactical" mode you can choose a new weapon, depending on your rank.

In Freeze Tag you try to eliminate the entire enemy team. If you kill someone then they will become frozen. So to eliminate all, you'd need to freeze everyone, making them all frozen at the same time. This will give your team a point and the round will start over again. If you are ever frozen, a teammate can come rescue you by standing next to your icy body for three seconds. You'll then be set free and can join the battle again.

Knock others off the map while remaining on the map yourself. 10 lives are given, and 1 life is lost for each time you fall off the map. Once you lose all lives, you are trapped on the bottom of the map until the next round begins.

A game of jailbreak consists of two teams, Blue and Red. When killed, you are transported to the enemies jail. While in jail, fellow teammates can free you by hitting the release trigger, or you can work together and use an escape hole located inside of the jail to gain your freedom. Once a team has all opponets in jail they are Executed, this being your ultimate goal.

Alliance is a fast paced, off-handed grapple mod for Quake III Arena. Alliance includes an array of custom models and sounds, admin, referee features and more.
To install Quake II on your Linux system, you'll need some flavor of the official Quake II distribution from id. This will be either the retail Windows CD-ROM that you bought at your favorite software store, or the demo version you downloaded from the net. See Download the Necessary Files for details on acquiring the demo version. Alternatively, if you've already got Quake installed on a Windows machine, you can use the relevant files from that installation.
The first thing you'll need to do is decide where you want to install Quake II. Lots of folks like to put it in /usr/games/quake. Anal system administrator that I am, I choose to install anything that's not part of my Linux distribution under /usr/local. So for me, Quake II goes in /usr/local/games/quake2. If you choose to install somewhere else, please substitute the appropriate path wherever /usr/local/games/quake2 is mentioned.
If you have Quake II installed under Windows on a different machine, you can transfer the files in quake2\baseq2\ to your Linux system via FTP or some other mechanism. Keep in mind that the filenames on your Linux system must be in lower case for Quake II to find them, so you may have to rename them after the transfer. Also note that it may be necessary to delete your Windows installation after you do this to remain in compliance with the terms of id's software license. It's not my fault if you do something illegal.
If your Windows and Linux systems are on the same machine, you have two options: copy the files from your Windows partition to your Linux partition, or link to the necessary files from Linux. Both options will work equally well. You'll just save a lot of disk space when you link instead of copy. As usual, replace /win95/games/quake2 in the following examples with the correct path to your Windows partition and Quake II installation.
id Software has a freely available demo version of Quake II at their ftp site. It's a 40 megabyte download. The demo includes all features of the full version, including multiplayer, but it only comes with three levels, so it may be difficult to find a server to play on.
The demo distribution is a self-extracting zip file (it's self-extracting in other OS's anyway). You can extract it with the unzip(1) command, which should be included in most modern distributions. If you don't have unzip, you can download it from the location listed in the Download the Necessary Files section.
Install just one of these packages. Each contains the same files, they're just linked against different libraries. Redhat 5.x users should choose the the glibc rpm package. Users of glibc based systems without rpm support should use the glibc tar package. The libc5 rpm is for Redhat distributions prior to 5.0 and other distributions that use the rpm package format. The libc5 tar.gz package is for Slackware and everyone else.
