Ihave a google workspace account which has been suspended - The Squarespace instructions tell me to go to Workspace and 'reactivate' my account. However, there is no option to reactivate the account - when I log in to Squarespace and go to workspace it only gives me the option of signing up with a new email address - I have tried using our current email address but it says they are already in use.
When I log into google workspace it tells me that I have to go through the reseller. I have absolutely no way of reactivating and accessing our emails. We've had no business emails for 5 days now. I have tried contacting square space multiple times and still have nothing from them. The live chat only seems to be open during American business hours despite offering services to Australia as well. I'm desperately hoping someone can help me get the account reactivated.
@deniselibelle If your Google Workspace account is suspended (usually due to a billing issue) you will lose access to all Google Workspace features until you reactivate the subscription. You have 40 days to reactivate your Google Workspace subscription from within Squarespace. After this, the Google Workspace account will be canceled in Squarespace and transferred to Google and you'll need to manage the Workspace account directly through them instead.
If you are within the 40 day period, you should be able to reactivate Workspace by logging on to your Squarespace website and navigating to Settings > Google Workspace. There should be an option to Reactivate Google Workspace where you can provide valid payment information to reactivate it.
@LOBSTER or @deniselibelle Were you ever able to solve this issue? I know it's been a year since then but I'm going through the same issue now.
@paul2009 Mine isn't a billing issue since I had just bought the domain and the Google Workspace accounts and they were working fine for over a week before this issue happened.
The information provided in the /config area and help website said it would seamlessly transition over to Google. It did not. It shut down all our email, forms, drive, and everything associated with Google. I only found out after trying to log in to my Google account and being greeted with a message saying it was terminated.
I only found out how to fix it after contacting Google (thankfully their support is 24/7 with immediate access, and still allowed me into the admin support area) and then going into my Squarespace /config and manually releasing the account to Google. That should have been done automatically. Instead, Squarespace completely locked out and shut down all our Google Workspace functionality and didn't respond until two days later.
We send and receive hundreds of important business emails per day and receive thousands of Google Form submissions per day. All of which was terminated. So people were unable to email us, emails submitted through contact forms did not reach us and do not notify the sender that it didn't reach us, people did not receive scheduled emails, and met notices that our forms were ended. This is a huge black mark on our business.
They give you two options to "cancel", "immediate" or "let it expire". I chose the 2nd one. The info Squarespace gives is that after it expires it will seamlessly transfer over to a 30 day trial with Google. It did not.
I had a pro account (paid thru Oct.) but had to delete the files and deactivate the account. After review, I realized there were some files that I didn't have saved locally. Now I'm trying to find a way to reactivate that account and access the deleted files. I was told to sign up for the account again using the same email address and sign up for a pro account again. Now that I've done that I still can't see any deleted files. Any suggestions?
Did this post not resolve your issue? If so please give us some more information so we can try and help - please remember we cannot see over your shoulder so be as descriptive as possible!
You cannot recover an account that has been deleted. Nor can you recover files from a deleted account. Both are gone. You can probably create a new account using the email address of the deleted account as it's no longer active in the system. If not, contact Support.
Currently trying to Reactivate my account it was de-activated to provide more information which i then provided, but they then wanted to do a video call to provide information which i was fine with. The link did not work which i then told them and then they forwarded me onto the account health team and then they told me that i was in the incorrect area and forwarded me back to the Seller Performance Team any help with this issue been going back and forth getting nowhere for past day seems as though they are not real people dealing with the issue.
How do I reactivate my account?
To reactivate your account, please complete your identity verification through a video call. This identity verification is required as an enhanced security measure.
What happens if I do not complete the identity verification?
If you do not complete your identity verification or fail to show our associate the original document during the video call, your account may remain deactivated.

Has anyone tried to reactivate a previously deactivated user on Alteryx Server, via the Gallery? Or, is it a case of recreating the account. If so, was there a clash with a previously used email address?
Hmm.....in previous versions of the Gallery it was as easy as going to the User's card and toggling the "active" box from "No" to "Yes". However, I'm finding that I can't seem to pull up deactivated users . . . I'm going to investigate a bit more.
I had a voice chat (and screen-share) with Alteryx Support earlier today and we saw that although the user is no longer visible in our Alteryx Gallery, his login details are present in MongoDB. Toggling the user back to 'Active' via the MongoDB document, did not manifest itself in Gallery ... his login is still not visible via that interface.
Anyway, I found a very hacky way to do it via the UI. If you can find the person's Subscription (or some Subscription where they are), then they'll be listed as a user still but italicized to indicate they are not active. You can click on their italicized name and you will then be taken to their user card, where you can toggle the Active button like always.
@Gareth_G I confirmed that the inability to reactivate a user via the UI was by design (for reasons I don't understand). As well, eventually Subscriptions are going to go away so my workaround won't work at some point in the future.
