Meetingsare held the first and third Wednesday of every month. The first meeting of the month is held at 5:00 p.m. in the administration offices of Cuyahoga Falls City Schools located at 431 Stow Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

The Church in Silver Lake is a Congregational Church. The Congregational Church, established in 1946, is a member of the Eastern Ohio Association, the Ohio Conference, and the General Synod of the United Church of Christ. Brad Jaggar serves as Pastor.


All residents are welcome to participate in the Sunday worship service at 10:00 a.m. You can enjoy a lakeside worship at 8:30 a.m. on Silver Lake during summer months. For more information regarding church services, please call (330) 928-2991.


Crystal Lake Development Corporation has operated Crystal Lake as a private fishing, tennis and swimming club for more than 50 years. Village Residents are all automatically eligible for lake membership. Memberships are also available for non-resident relatives of members and a limited number of memberships are open to non-resident friends sponsored by members. The Silver Lake Garden Club encourages home and community gardening and stimulates interest in the preservation, conservation, and beautification of the Village. Established in 1927 and incorporated in 1960, the club is a non-profit organization whose contributions have done much for the Village. Any resident of the Village may join as either an active or associate member. General membership meetings are held on the third Monday of every month, except January, July, and August. The programs are interesting and educational. Please contact Garden Club President Carol Steiner at (330) 815-2475 for any questions you may have.


The Silver Lake Historical Society was formed in 1977 for the purpose of preserving Village memorabilia and to develop a sense of history for the Village. A meeting and picnic are held each year for all members. Call Bob Zimmermann at (330) 922-0062 for any further information.


The major goal of this parent/teacher organization is to support and encourage effective and creative educational programs for every child in Silver Lake. Projects sponsored by the League help finance numerous extracurricular activities such as field trips, the purchase of classroom supplies, and other worthwhile programs at Silver Lake Elementary School.
