Permaculture Meet Up - April (No March meet up planned)

Kia ora everyone,

Our next meet up in April is going to be a fun one. All about seeds! 

We’ll be heading to Setha Seeds for a farm tour and seed processing demonstration. There will be a koha for this event. I’ll send out more details once the date is confirmed. It will be either Saturday 11 April or Sunday 12 April, so please keep those dates in mind for now.

In May, we’ll have the opportunity to visit Jo at Kahikatea Farm for a permablitz on the whenua and to share some meaningful mahi together. This will be on Sunday 3 May. More details will be sent out closer to the time.

I haven’t organised a Permaculture Group Hawke’s Bay meet up for March. It’s been a busy month for many of us and time has flown by! 

Sherryn has shared information about the Heald Farm Field Day on Monday 16 March, 9:30am–3pm. I’ll be teaching that day and would love to hear how it was from any of you who are able to attend.

We’re also hoping to organise an event focused on erosion in Hawke’s Bay. This will be in the second half of the year. If you’re interested in helping to arrange this, I’d really appreciate your support. I’d love to hear your thoughts on potential speakers and venues.
