Hi all,

I've just noticed that some time ago, I accidentally introduced a jump
in the MediaWiki::Bot version numbers. Instead of releasing 3.5.3, I
released 5.5.3. Tonight's release was actually 5.5.4, not 3.5.4 as I
told you.

It is too late to go back and re-number those releases in git or on
CPAN. To do so would confuse git and CPAN clients, and is generally
not useful.

The main indication version numbers provide is ordering (version
numbers only go up), and by incrementing different parts of the
number, whether it was a major release, a minor release, or a patch.
Normally, increasing the major version number (the first part) from 3
to 5 would indicate breaking changes - that is, a new API. While I had
been planning breaking changes for some time, there were none - the
API is the same as 3.0.0.

I'll continue to increase version numbers as normal in the future.

My apologies,
- -Mike
