Curious to know why are you not doing this as part of the NBPlatform

This is a great effort to provide a IDE for perl. But I am curious to
know why not provide this as a plugin (suite) for the netbeans
platform itself. This will enable it to be part of an already existing
infrastructure and within a singular IDE instead of launching a new
app.

The NBM files are available for download from the download section of
my project space since 21st Dec.

Please feel free to use it.

Currently it is not possible as only the entire application has been uploaded. I am waiting for a stability period and after that the NBM would be uploaded.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts on this.

It is coming up on a year... is it stable enough yet? :-) I would really prefer the nbm in place of the application. I like to keep my projects all in one IDE.

Stability is never enough :)

Actually I have been very busy with my day job and did not get any chance to work on it. Some users did come up with concerns that if this is made an NBM, then the out-of-the-box part of the IDE will not stand valid. Need to ensure that this does not happen.

Let me get some time out from the day job and I will try to get this in.

Appreciate the patience a lot.
