I'm curious (in a fairly idle sort of way ;-) to know 2 things:

1) What version of gcc was used to build the 64-bit perl ? (I'm assuming it
would be 7.1.0, but maybe that's not the policy.)
2) Was perl.h patched in accordance with the patch provided to
https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=121683 ?

I know I can get the answers by downloading the perl in question, or by
directly asking ... but is there some other way I can find out ?

Cheers,
Rob

Aaah ... wasn't sure of the "rules".

It doesn't seem to affect 5.3.0 or 5.4.0 either but it does affect 6.3.0 and
later - so I'm guessing that it affects version 6 onwards.
BTW, I have filed a perlbug report about this -
https://rt.perl.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=131726

Steve Hay posted today (to p5p) that "5.26.1 is slated for sometime in
August".
I've requested that the patch to perl.h be backported to any future releases
(as well as being applied to blead) ... but who knows what will eventuate
...

Cheers,
Rob
