In our university, teaching parrot assembly is effective.

For 3 weeks now, our students (2nd year) are trying to realize programs
in parrot assembly and, for most of them, they really apreciate it.

The general opinion is that it is very powerfull and easy to learn.

In the nest french perl workshop, I will explain why such a language is
able to help us in our pedagogy.

Regards.

Great. Thanks for the update.

If it's that workshop that runs in parallel with the Vienna one, then
we'll meet via live broadcast, hopefully.

I'm quite sure the OP was talking about the French Perl Workshop, which will
happen on the same days as the Austrian Perl Workshop: 9th and 10th June.

At the Austrian Perl Workshop we have a small room (aprox 20 people) I'd
like to use for a Parrot/Perl6/PUGS-Hacking track (if people are interested..)

If we manage to set it up, there'll be a video broadcast between Vienna and
Marseilles for some 'major' talks. (And IRC, of course..)

Expect a proper Call for Papers/Participation soon after Easter!
