This is a bug report for perl from rlpo...@digitalkingdom.org,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.36 running under perl 5.10.0.

Given:
- ---------
use Coro;
use Test::More;
async {
plan tests => 1;
is_deeply( [ 'login', 'test user' ], [ 'login', 'test user' ] );
};
cede;
- ---------
The output is:
1..1
Use of uninitialized value in method with known name at /usr/share/perl/5.10/Test/Builder.pm line 476.

ok 1
I don't know that this isn't a Coro problem, but I'm hoping there's
a workaround in Test::More by itself.
Note that the code seems to be doing its job just fine.
Live 476 is:
return $self->_try( sub { ref $thing && $thing->isa('UNIVERSAL') } ) ? 1 : 0;
Replacing it with:
return $self->_try( sub { ref $thing } ) ? 1 : 0;
makes the noise stop.

Stumbled over this accidentally :)

The reason for this is that Coro patches the %SIG vtbl and manages __DIE__
and __WARN_ itself, and 5.10 apparently doesn't like undef as die handler.
The code in question is in an eval and dies, and this causes the warning
because $SIG{__DIE__} is undef (i.e. "uninitialised"). I fixed Coro to use
a null pointer instead and this silences the warnings.

It was.

One *could* use UNIVERSAL::isa here:
> return $self->_try( sub { ref $thing && $thing->isa('UNIVERSAL') } ) ? 1 : 0;
which would be faster as it avoids the exception (and the ref test), and
would avoid the problem in *this* instance, but waiting for a new Coro
release is probably faster than waiting for 5.10.1, even if this were
changed :)
