p5p Summary for December 2nd - 8th, 2007

As a test run to see how much effort was involved, I've done a summary of p5p
for last week. This is my stab at claiming the "Winter of Code" bounty for
weekly p5p summaries.

Since I read all this stuff anyway, it would be nice if I got paid for it. :)

Comments welcome, particularly if I got something wrong or misrepresented. Or

One nit: Exporter is dual lived since at least one year. See the list
at http://search.cpan.org/dist/Exporter/ (thanks Adriano!)
