Accessing the z/OS file system from 'Perl for z/OS'

Hi all
I would like you please to guide me to any documentation that would show me how to access the normal z/OS file system from Perl for z/OS.  All I need is pointing to any and all relevant documentation on this subject.  I will do the rest of the work.
 
Also, I used to subscribe to this group and I ceased to get messages.  Assuming that the group still exists, could you please restore my subscription or guide me on how to do it.

Yes, not much traffic on this list these days.  I was beginning to wonder about this list also.

 

I use the OS390::Stdio package.  If you hear of something different, let me know!
