Description:
We are looking for a junior perl software engineer to join a small IT team
for a growing credit control company in Sheffield. Candidates must have an
formal qualification in IT and a desire to become a software developer.

The role will be roughly an equal mix of project work, existing system
support and general day to day query resolution. The successful candidate
will communicate well and have the ability to work as part of a team whilst
contributing their own solutions to problems.

Required skills: perl, CGI, SQL

Desired skills:
Database (postgres), javascript, templating (currently we use
HTML::Template), version control (subversion or similar) and linux.
Knowledge of design principles such as MVC, OO and frameworks.
