This Central London Enterprise Software business, are at the forefront on
new technology and are market leaders in the area in which they specialise.
They have about a million visitors to their site a day, which provides a
unique and exciting challenge for the development team.
Along with the relaxed atmosphere and the opportunity to work up to 50% at
home, you will be working with the eight person strong Perl development
team. You’ll be working on varying complexities of systems integrations and
configurations along with developing applications to allow quicker
searching on their site, you will also be working on how to best utilise
the use of social media and how it can work with them, and plenty more
project work besides.
Where this role will test you technically is that you will not be given a
spec to work to, you will be tasked with devising and developing your own
project giving you more freedom to be creative.
In this agile evangelist environment, you’ll need to work well within the
Agile frameworks they employ. In addition, on the technical side you will
need a good understand of Javascript and experience with Catalyst is
essential.
